Lucas's ship the Chemical Pioneer arrived in Philly on Thursday. Tracy and I met him on Friday afternoon and had a few hours to take him and Pete, his shipmate from the academy out to lunch. So, where do you take two guys who have been on a ship for a month? Why to a old tall ship that has been converted into a restaurant! The food was wonderful and the ship was fantastic. The visit was way too short but very sweet. His next stop is Houston, then on to Maine. Can't wait for him to come home in June.
